TourCheck

Document guard rounds and inspections on your own Nextcloud: QR/NFC checkpoints, an append-only Wachbuch journal with external timestamp anchoring, incident reports with photo and signature – plus an optional companion app for workers and shared stations.

We improve this app with real-world use. Bug reports, rough edges, and ideas help – open a GitHub Issue or write to info@software-by-design.de.

What it does

A patrol only counts if you can prove it happened. TourCheck turns planned rounds into documented runs: checkpoints confirmed where they stand, incidents filed where they occurred, and a journal a client or auditor can actually verify – all on infrastructure you control.

Sites & round plans

Register sites and checkpoints, then plan rounds from templates. Plans materialize into daily runs automatically.

QR & NFC checkpoints

Printable QR sheets or signed NFC tags tie each confirmation to the physical checkpoint – not just a timestamp.

Wachbuch journal

An append-only, hash-chained journal with external RFC 3161 timestamp anchoring – tamper-evident by construction.

Incident reports

Photo, voice note, and signature captured on the spot, queued offline-first and synced when the network returns.

Attestation

Supervisors review and attest completed rounds – the record shows who checked, not just who walked.

Reports & claim bundles

SLA reports and one-click evidence bundles when a client or insurer asks for proof of service.

Client portal

Your customers see their sites, service quality, and released reports – transparency without extra licences.

Companion & stations

Worker mode for phones, kiosk mode with per-member PIN for shared station devices – licensed per seat (TCK2).

Where it fits – and where it doesn’t

TourCheck documents rounds and proof of service. It is deliberately not a shift planner, a time tracker, or covert GPS tracking – GPS stamps are opt-in per site, always visible, and auto-purged.

  • DutyCheck – duty rosters and shift planning with conflict checks; a different job from round documentation. Available now
  • ArbeitszeitCheck – working-time compliance (clock-in/out, breaks); TourCheck proves presence at a checkpoint, not hours worked. Available now
  • MaintenanceCheck – planned equipment servicing at customer sites; TourCheck covers guard-style rounds, not maintenance work orders. Available now
